摘要:
网络虚拟化是克服当前网络架构僵化问题的关键技术,可以适应日益增长的网络用户数和业务需求。 其中主要问题是如何将底层物理网络上有限的资源合理分配给更多的虚拟网络,就是虚拟网络映射问题。根据底层网络提供商(InPs)是否唯一,可以将虚拟网络映射问题分为单域映射和多域映射。 当前关于单域映射的相关算法在虚拟网络请求接受率、映射收益和映射成本等方面都可以达到很好的性能。但是随着网络业务的不断多元化,虚拟网络必须要在多个底层网络提供商之间进行资源分配,这就是多域虚拟网络映射问题。 对现有的虚拟网络映射相关算法进行了研究,重点介绍了当前多域虚拟网络映射算法的研究进展,根据多域映射算法的不同特点进行了分类,对代表性算法进行了详细介绍和对比,最后从两个方面指出了未来多域虚拟网络映射的研究方向。
Abstract:
Network virtualization is recognized as a key technology for overcoming the ossification of the current network architecture and can adapt to the growing network users and business needs. One of its main problems is how to allocate the limited resources on the substrate physical network to more virtual networks,that is the virtual network embedding. According to whether the infrastructure providers (InPs) is unique,the virtual network embedding can be divided into intra-domain embedding and multi-domain embedding. The current algorithms for intra-domain embedding perform well in terms of virtual network request acceptance rate,mapping revenue and mapping cost. With the continuous diversification of network services,however,virtual networks must be provisioned across heterogeneous administrative domains managed by multiple infrastructure providers,which is multi-domain virtual network embedding. In this paper,we research the existing algorithms of virtual network mapping and emphatically introduce the research progress of current multi-domain virtual network embedding algorithms. According to the different characteristics of multi-domain embedding algorithms,they are classified and the representative of them are demonstrated and compared in detail. Finally,we discuss the orientation of the future research on multi-domain virtual network embedding from two aspects.
