摘要:
随着数据中心应用业务日渐增长和规模不断扩大,节能和保证服务质量成为数据中心亟待解决的问题。 云数据中心的物理主机资源利用不均衡会造成资源浪费、主机过载,甚至影响服务质量( QoS)。 针对这一问题,提出一种基于多资源协同优化的虚拟机整合策略( MRCO-VMC) 。 该算法利用正态分布模型估计运行中的物理主机处于多资源利用均衡状态的概率,评估其过载风险,筛选出过载主机集合;对于过载主机,根据该主机迁出虚拟机后的过载风险和虚拟机迁移时间两个因素选择待迁移虚拟机;为了确保迁移后不影响目标主机的稳定性,根据目标主机中未分配的资源数量和迁移后目标主机处于资源均衡利用的概率选择目标主机;最后使用贪心策略关闭低载主机,减少运行主机数量,进而降低能耗。 在 CloudSim 仿真平台进行实验,结果表明该策略在节约能耗、提高服务质量和减少迁移次数方面均有提升。
Abstract:
With the increasing of applications and scale of data centers,energy conservation and service quality assurance have becomeurgent problems for data centers. The uneven utilization of physical host resources in cloud data centers will cause resource waste,host overload,and even affect the quality of service ( QoS) . To solve this problem,a virtual machine integration strategy based on multi - resource collaborative optimization ( MRCO - VMC) is proposed. The algorithm uses the normal distribution model to estimate theprobability that the running physical host is in the equilibrium state of multi resource utilization,so as to evaluate its overload risk,andthen screen out the overload host set. For the overloaded host,the virtual machine to be migrated is selected according to the overload riskafter the host moves out of the virtual machine and the virtual machine migration time. In order to ensure that the stability of the targethost will not be affected after the migration,the target host is selected according to the number of un-allocated resources in the target hostand the probability that the target host is in the balanced utilization of resources after the migration. Finally,the greedy strategy is used toshut down the low load hosts to reduce the number of running hosts,thereby reducing energy consumption. The experiment on CloudSimsoftware platform shows that such strategy has improved in energy saving,improving service quality and reducing the number of migrations.
