摘要:
随着科学技术的不断发展,智能化的交通管理系统已成为发展的重要趋势,车牌识别系统作为智能交通系统中的一个分支,起着至关重要的作用。 车牌识别系统一般包括车牌的定位、车牌字符分割和车牌字符识别三个部分,是车牌识别系统研究的重点。 文中根据需求确定了各部分算法,并使用 MATLAB 语言进行编程,实现了系统中图像预处理、车牌定位、字符分割和字符识别的具体功能。 其中采用 9 宫格模板匹配法进行车牌识别,首先根据文字的特征把字符图像分区,主要根据分布区域提取文字的特征,同时采用同样的方法提取模板相同特征,其次比较文字和模板的特征,最后根据对比结果获得相应的文字模板,完成车牌识别系统软件设计。 实验结果表明,该方法考虑了对图像环境、光照、色彩和拍摄角度的敏感性,提高了车牌识别的清晰度和准确率。
Abstract:
With the continuous development of science and technology,intelligent traffic management system has become an important trend of development. As a branch of intelligent transportation system,license plate recognition system plays a vital role. The license plate recognition system generally includes three parts:license plate location, license plate character segmentation and license plate character recognition,which is the focus of the license plate recognition system. In this paper,each part of the algorithm is determined according to the requirements,and the MATLAB language is used for programming. The specific functions of image preprocessing,license plate location,character segmentation and character recognition in the system are realized. The 9 grid plate matching method is used to identify the license plate. Firstly, character image is divided according to the characters’ features,and characters’ features are extracted mainly according to the distribution area. At the same time,the same features of templates are extracted by using the same method. Secondly,characters and templates are compared,and finally,corresponding text templates are obtained according to the comparison results to complete the software design of license plate recognition system. According to the experimental results,the method considers the sensitivity to image environment, illumination,color and shooting angle,and improves the clarity and accuracy of license plate recognition.
