对MD2文件的一般格式进行了解析，并在解析的一般格式的基础上具体分析了一个MD2模型文件。在此基础上，利用VC＋＋6．0编程环境，借助OpenGL作为三维立体动画模型渲染工具，实现了对这种经典动画模型数据进行读取，并驱动其包含的相关动作的一种算法，旨在实现更好地对MD2模型文件中的数据进行读取与显示，实现使用键盘对其包含的动作进行驱动。实验结果显示，该算法通用于一般MD2格式文件，从而为解决计算机动画领域中的动画显示和动画模型驱动问题提供参考依据
